The Martha's Vineyard St. Patrick's 5K Race, 2003

John, Scott, Carlos and Chuck journeyed once again to run in the Ocean View Oak Bluffs St. Patrick's Day 5K race.  The race had special significance this year as Scott wished to defend his victory in last year's race.  Many wondered about his key to last year's victory, so this year I paid close attention to his pre-race ritual.  All I can report is that the key ingredients appear to include a Newes Beef and Bean Burrito mixed with many Guinness and Sam Adams.   This mixture seemed to work as Scott once again pulled out a victory against some tough competition.
