The
History behind Dozer Salsa

Several
years ago my yellow Labrador Retriever, Dozer, became obsessed
with the tomatoes in my garden. He used to snatch any low hanging
fruit and run around the yard with the tomato in his mouth in an
effort to entice me to chase him. At first, it was just a game to
him, but soon he realized that the tomatoes were actually very
tasty! At this point, it no longer was a "catch me if you
can" game. It turned into a "I'm hungry, so I'll wait
here at the garden gate until you feed me more tomatoes"
contest. And Dozer doesn't just like my home grown tomatoes. He
also likes my peppers and onions. Because Dozer loves the my
salsa ingredients so much, I decided to name it after him: Dozer Salsa - Dozer
loves it, and I'm
sure you will too!

Dozer Salsa - Hot
My best salsa by far! Not
for the faint at heart! First place winner in the 2000 and 1998 Westford Pig n' Pepper.
Special Award winner, "Hottest of the hot", in the 1998, and "Kept up with professional salsa" in 2000 Westford Pig n' Pepper Fair.
Second place winner in the 1997 and 1999 Westford Pig n' Pepper
Fair. This spicy concoction contains a home-grown mix of both
Thai and Habanero peppers. It should give your taste buds a
jolting dose of capsaicin! This batch of salsa, named after my
yellow Lab, Dozer, was created with Westford home-grown
vegetables. Ingredients include tomatoes, onions, red sweet bell
peppers, Thai peppers, Habanero peppers, home-grown basil and
oregano, thyme, wine vinegar, parsley, cilantro, a dab of olive
oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Dozer Salsa - Medium
First place winner in the 1998
Westford Pig n' Pepper Fair. Home-grown Jalapeno and Thai peppers
grace this zingy garden-fresh batch of salsa. Named after my
Yellow Labrador Retriever, Dozer, this salsa was created with
Westford home-grown vegetables. Ingredients include tomatoes,
onions, Chili peppers, Jalapeno peppers, Thai peppers, home-grown
basil and oregano, thyme, wine vinegar, parsley, cilantro, a dab
of olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Dozer Salsa - Mild
First place winner in the 1999
Westford Pig n' Pepper Fair. Third place winner in the 1998
Westford Pig n' Pepper Fair. My Yellow Labrador Retriever, Dozer,
is a connoisseur of fine tomatoes. When he smells a ripe tomato
in my garden he silently sits in front of the garden gate and
wont leave until I pick a cherry tomato and reward him with
a tasty snack! This batch of salsa, named after Dozer, was
created with Westford home-grown vegetables. Ingredients include
tomatoes, onions, red bell peppers, chili peppers, home-grown
basil and oregano, thyme, cilantro, wine vinegar, parsley, a dab
of olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
